UAW Expanded Edition Mod (Public Beta 1.0) - File Description  


Description:
Well hello guys. This is probably the first proper mod to be released for the Universe at War game. It contains a new faction called the Military and revamps the others a fairbit. I don't really think this should have been the first public release but due to delay of the mod tools i just want a damn beta out.

I hope you all love this mod.

Below is the readme

Gameplay Changes
• Camera zoom can now go a further 50%
• Camera zooming out can now go a further 60%
• New Faction Military

Novus Changes
• Converted into a Military faction

Masari Changes
• New unit Stormchaser

Military Changes
• Riflemen can now throw grenades
• Maverick Jets can now air raid
• Random Hierarchy sounds are fixed
• Riflemen health increased by 10%
• Riflemen damage to light Alien armour increased by 2%
• New Unit Science Constructionist
• Rocket Launcher limited to 5 on a battlefield at one time
• New unit Military Dropship
• Novus Alliance allows you to recruit Ohm Robots, Blade Troopers,
Mirabel, and Reflectors (new unit) from the Novus Creation Centre

Hierarchy Changes
• New unit Manipulator
• New unit Skinwalker

I hope all you guys have fun as much as i made it. (not alot lol joke)

Nothing is allowed to be taken for your own personal use nothing at all not even the folder names

u guys may need help with the mod. just extract it at your main UAW folder
then use this shortcut to run the mod:

nice but once the mod tools come out u could add the military instead of getting rid of the Novus

shame i cant judge the mod.... my laptop wont run UAW...

well. i played the mod as Military and if u are going to leave some Novus units. u should add a powersource cause otherwise u cant use the superweapons or do research. and there are some missing icons and images in 2D but everything else is ok. except for the Reflectors that doesnt attack the enemy infantry (i fighted angaist masari and the Reflectors didnt attack them)
btw u should add a bit more balance with the tanks angaist the walkers. u can have 20 tanks which are very expensive units but they got owned by 1 Hierarchy walker.

i understand that its a beta that's why i'll not say anything wrong about the mod. its the 1st mod that adds stuff to the game and for now it rocks

9/10 just cause the minnor bugs i mentioned beafore

My UAW keeps getting a Abnormal game exit when I play this mod, is there any reason?

it shouldnt. maybe its your drivers or your system specs or maybe try to reinstall teh game.

I just need the modpath ( /modpath: ??? ) syntax to add to "Cstick out tonguerogram FilesSegaUniverse At War Earth AssaultLaunchUAW.exe" so I can run it with the normal shortcut.

Yeah even though it was 3 (more like 2.1) factions against the Hiarchy. I think the removal of Novus was a mistake. In a matter of fact you could have had the humans join Masari. After all the all look human and Zesus is half human. Even though the story and gameplay mode was designed to be without humans I would like to see them a compleetly difrent and playable faction that would be alright. I mean you got Marines, Flamethrower, Rockets Humvees, Tanks, and Helicopters. As for the superweapon you could add in a Nuke site. The ones that the Hiarchy had to destroy in the 2nd mission.

why notreplace the Masari for the Humans and keep the novus???
