Alternate Universe - At War (V1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This is a simple mod that makes changes to the Novus and Hierarchy races. The changes are wholly cosmetic and have no effect on game balance whatsoever.
The modifications include a complete reskin of the two races including units, structures and the user interface. Also, the mod reshuffles many weapon and explosion particle effects. Some effects where left unchanged because the official mod tools are not released yet and are required to edit those effects.

Alternate Universe - at War Mod:

-Description-

This is a simple mod that makes changes to the Novus and Hierarchy races. The changes are wholly cosmetic and have no effect on game balance whatsoever.
The modifications include a complete reskin of the two races including units, structures and the user interface. Also, the mod reshuffles many weapon and explosion particle effects. Some effects where left unchanged because the official mod tools are not released yet and are required to edit those effects.

This mod requires the official patch #2.

-Installation-

After you extract the files in this archive, you should have the following items:
-A folder named "Mods".
-A batch (.bat) file called "Alternate UAW".
-A custom icon.
-This Readme file.

To install the Mod, copy "Mods" and "Alternate UAW.bat" into the game's main directory, and you're ready to go.

There are two ways to play the game with the mod:
1)Run "Alternate UAW.bat".
2)Create a shortcut for the executable "LaunchUAW.exe" located in the game's main folder, and add the line "MODPATH=Mods/AltUAW" at the end of the shortcut target.

Example:

"C:/Program Files/SegaUniverse At War Earth Assault/LaunchUAW.exe" MODPATH=Mods/AltUAW

I've included an icon that you might like to use with this shortcut.
